An early 19th century Indian Colonial silver hot water jug, Calcutta circa 1810 by Robert Hamilton
Of barrel form with coopered sides, a plain domed lid surmounted by a ball finial. The C scroll handle with ivory insulators. Initialled to the body and lid with CR in cursive script flourished. Marked underneath only with makers mark RH and incuse tally marks.
