A WILLIAM IV OLD SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATE THREE-PIECE TEA SERVICE, SHEFFIELD CIRCA 1835 BY WATERHOUSE AND CO
Comprising a teapot, a milk jug, and a twin handled sugar bowl. Each of compressed circular form upon a circular foot. Ornate applied leaded rims of C scrolls and flower heads, the bodies with flat chased decoration of foliage with a cartouche engraved with initials JHW. The teapot with and ornate foliate handle fitted with ivory insulators opposite an acanthus capped spout. Milk and Sugar with gilt interiors. Teapot marked with a Fleur-de-lis. Together a Victorian silver plated (EPNS) epergne base with glass flute, by James Dixon and Sons. (4)
