A pair of early 20th century Iranian (Persian) unmarked silver three light candelabra, Isfahan circa 1930
Pahlavi dynasty, the octagonal bases with serrated edge with engraved rosette borders, the panelled centres with repousse monabbat-kari peonies within engraved ghalam zani arabesques and ring punching, the columns similarly decorated with ghalam zani. Each with twin scrolling arms with cast and applied ornament of C scrolls, the upper section terminating in birds’ heads, heightened with ring punching. The capitals with a stepped circular drip pan, engraved with shaped vignettes attended by birds interspaced with peonies. Hollow. (2)
