Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India, 2nd - 4th century and later
Each one a slight variation from the typical Buddhist Yakshini and Yaksha head motif, carved in high relief, with broad eyes, full lips, broad nose, elongated earlobes wearing heavy beaded earrings, with thick braids and a floral decorative ornament on the yakshini's forehead, mounted on later wooden bases, the tallest 17.5cm, the smallest 10.5cm.
