A NEOLITHIC FLINT AXE HEAD CIRCA 4000 - 2000 B.C., formed of dark brown, slightly mottled stone, the trapezoidal axe head tapers to a curved butt, 20.5cm long
Provenance: Formerly in the collection of Lars Otto Johan Holst (1863-1936), a veterinary surgeon who was active in Ronneby, southern Sweden from around 1887.
