2 ‘limited edition’ original serigraph posters one by or after Sister Corinta Kent, ink ‘Ed 15’ and ‘Lind-ley 25’ to lower edge and 3 with ink stamps on the verso of the college stating where they are from, ap-prox. 453 x 438mm., another image titled ‘Flight Egypt’ signed ‘Sister Daniel, IHM, 1966’, approx.. 510 x 480mm, full colour, a few small paper repairs to verso, [Immmaculate Heart College, 1966]
***Sister Magdalen Mary was referred to as an ‘agent’ for Corita Kent who entered the College in 1936. After a period she went on to teach within the College and eventually took a degree. She eventually be-came Head of the art Department. Her prime medium was silk-screen or Serigraphy. As she was not doing this for status but more to generate income most of her work is unsigned and un-numbered.
