The hinged cover of the tortoiseshell box finely carved with a dragon, a phoenix and a deer amongst scrolling clouds around a vacant cartouche, the sides with birds and flowers, the concave base with diaper pattern, 6.5 x 4.5 x 3cm, the second box carved to the cover with a dragon among waves, 7 x 1.5 x 5.5cm.
