PROVENANCE: The Collection of William (‘Bill’) Partleton (1911-1975). Bill Partleton worked on over 100 films between the 1930’s and the 1970’s, principally in the make-up and special effects departments of major British film studios, including Doctor in the House (1954), The Prisoner (1955), A Night to Remember (1958), Peeping Tom (1960), Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines (1965), Island of Terror (1966), Jane Eyre (1970), Kidnapped (1971) and The Wicker Man (1971).
