A high status Indian tulwar (sword) with gold and silver koftgari floral decoration to the hilt and serrated blade. The steel blade being curved and 79cm long, with a serrated section on the front edge for 53cm, with a false edge of 28cm at the back and traditional ricasso, level with the langets. The hilt of typical outline, with knob-ended quillons and flat disc pommel, decorated all over.
