An early 20th century Ceylonese (Sri Lankan) unmarked silver lime box, Kandy or Colombo circa 1930
Of shaped oblong form with a hinged domed lid. The lid with chased quarterly symmetrical decoration of foliate scrolls, the sides with interwoven foliage. The underside flat chased with a figure holding the sun in one hand, other wise with foliate scrolls.
