An early 20^th century Thai silver cigarette box, probably Bangkok circa 1910 by Xun, retailed by Wen Bao

Of rectangular form with a hinged lid. The lid with embossed decoration of various figures including warriors, one with a pennant engraved with characters in Chinese, approaching figures before a noble under an architrave, willow and fur trees to the foreground, a river before a mountainscape. The sides with further detailed figural scenes of warriors on horseback, scholars, and seated nobles. Marked underneath 文宝 (WEN BAO) and artisan 巽 (XUN).
