A LATE 17TH CENTURY UNMARKED SILVER-MOUNTED TORTOISE SHELL BOWL ON STAND, PROBABLY DUTCH CIRCA 1680

A late 17^th century unmarked silver-mounted tortoise shell bowl on stand, probably Dutch circa 1680

The tortoise shell mounted with a silver lip and hinged section, the lip engraved with a stylised tulip, the hinges with stylised roses between a tulip. All upon a turned tortoiseshell stand, possibly later.
