Our bi-annual 20th/21st Century Art auction showcases an incredibly wide range of works spanning from 20th to 21st Centuries until the present day.
This season’s catalogue presents collectors with an opportunity to explore contrasting artistic movements and acquire works that span the international landscape, from the 20th century to the present day.
At the heart of the sale is a strong curation of Russian avant-garde highlights. Featuring works by Constructivist pioneer Naum Gabo, alongside celebrated names such as Pavel Filonov and Oleksandr Bogomazov, among other notable figures. This selection offers a compelling look at the figures who helped shape modern art.
The auction also features notable pieces by other significant international artists. A standout is a sweeping 1955 abstract painting by Paul Jenkins, which sits in fascinating contrast to two highly structured, expressive canvases by Ecuadorian master Oswaldo Guayasamín.
Furthermore, the sale highlights French modernism, tracing a line from the Jazz Age energy of Paul Colin to the bold textures of Claude Venard. Bringing the collection fully into the present day, the catalogue rounds out with striking contemporary pieces, offering a dynamic range of artworks suited for both new and established collectors.
