Chiswick Auctions is delighted to present our Autumn Prints & Multiples sale, to be held on Monday 27th October. This sale brings together over 300 lots, celebrating the art of printmaking from Old Masters to Contemporary greats.
Highlights include a remarkable collection of works by Julian Trevelyan, the pioneering printmaker and long-time Chiswick resident. We are proud to offer numerous images of West London scenes that celebrate the heritage and location of our auction house.
We are also pleased to present a superb selection of Modern British prints by Edward Bawden, John Piper and Sandra Blow. The sale also showcases a range of works by David Hockney, from original exhibition posters to hand-signed works from his acclaimed series Fourteen Poems from C. P. Cavafy.
Complementing these highlights is a thoughtfully curated selection of European prints by Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Piero Dorazio, as well as early etchings by Francisco de Goya and James McNeil Whistler. With its breadth and depth of offerings, this sale presents a unique opportunity to acquire exceptional works by some of the most influential names in modern and contemporary art.
