This January's Old Masters and 19th Century Art sale showcases a wonderful variety of paintings, drawings and works on paper spanning the 16th to the 19th Century. Highlights include a remarkable work from the circle/studio of Franks Francken Junior (1581-1642), a Capriccio Italianate landscape by William Oram (c.1730-1777), a portrait by Sir Thomas Lawrence and Studio (1769-1830), that has only recently come to light, and a vibrant impressionist painting by Edmund Charles Tarbell (1862-1938), amongst many other wonderful works.
