Our sales of 19^th & 20^th Century Paintings and Works on Paper feature oil paintings, portrait miniatures, works on paper and prints, and ranges from Victorian pictures including the Pre-Raphaelites, to Continental painting including Impressionism and Modernism. 

Standout results have included the sale of five works by John Constable in 2019 (£250,000) and the Portrait Miniatures sale including The Comerford Collection, which realised over £100,000 in 2020. Other exceptional sales from 2020 include Dorothea Sharp (£33,500), William Degouve de Nuncques (£37,500), Gustav Klimt (£40,000) and eight works by Marie-Louise von Motesiczky which totalled £52,500.
