Essential School of Painting (ESOP)

With strong representation from leading Scottish contemporary artists, the 20th Century and Contemporary Art and Design sale features over 50 lots of original paintings. This part of the sale is the first fundraising auction for the Essential School of Painting (ESOP) and features works from an impressive line-up of contributing and donating artists including:

Barbara Rae CBE RA, Ken Currie, Alison Watt, Adrian Wiszniewski , Norman Ackroyd RA, Gwen Hardie, Alison Harper, Henry Kondracki, Dr Leonard McComb RA, Sandy Moffat OBE RSA, John Bellany RA amongst other prominent artists.

All of whom have donated works to the independent London Painting school which has been dubbed ‘Glasgow School of Art in London’. Proceeds of the auction will go towards the upkeep of the school and the development of its forthcoming programme.
