Lot 100, Kurt Ostervig for Jason Mobler, a 1960's rosewood gateleg table, the elliptical top with drop flap ends having castellated hinges, on shaped hairpin design legs. Estimate: £1800-2200

Among the major paintings is a magnificent work on panel attributed to renaissance master, Andrea Del Sarto – ‘Madonna and Christ with Two Angel’s which carries a pre-sale estimate of £7,000 to £10,000 [Lot 11].

A rare work by Mexican artist Jose Agostin Arrieta of a Woman and a Young Boy - £4,000 to £6,000 [Lot 36], and a delightful oil on canvas by Edmund Blair Leighton ‘Riverside Gossip’ , £10,000 to £15,000 [Lot 3].

The British school is well represented with original works by surrealist Anthony Brown [Lot269], Fred Yates, Graham Crowley, and Alberto Morrocco together with an important early painting by Richard Eurich [Lot8] which is to be featured in the forthcoming catalogue raisonne of the artists work.

Highlights of the German and Italian schools include works by Fritz von Uhde, and Fausto Pirandello.
Among the etchings and prints is a magnificent collection of 22 etchings by marine artist William Lionel Wyllie, and works by John Piper, Gerald Leslie Brockhurst, Louis Icart and Sir William Russell Flint.
