An eclectic General sale

09/04/2015     Chiswick Curates

Next week, on Tuesday 14th April at 12 noon,
we have some eclectic items in our General sale.

As the content for the General sale builds again, a wander round the saleroom at the moment reveals the incredible variety of items that people sell through us.

There is a fabulous collection of boxed microscopes, from a variety of dates, including one particularly powerful piece that has a separate electric light source. They are lots 221 to 232.

And we are fascinated by a collection of tribal artefacts, lots 152 through to 157.

The catalogue will be online very soon.

originalOn Tuesday this week our star lot was a pair of rare early 19th Century gouache studies of exotic florals and flowering cacti. They were presented in American "trampoline" drip carved frames and achieved a hammer price of £1,320 inc. buyers premium.

Also this week we welcomed a new specialist to our team.
Claudio Corsi has joined us from Bonhams to head up our new Antiquities department.
