Next week, on Tuesday 9th June at 12 noon, we are holding a sale of
Fine Art, followed by the General sale.
As ever we have an incredibly high standard of lots in our Fine Art sale. There are excellent museum quality pieces offered which will be of particular interest to Old Master and Modern art enthusiasts alike. Our Fine Art catalogue is shaped by daily discoveries that private vendors and collectors bring to us, so there are also very affordable pieces on offer. The three pieces featured here are by Percy William Gibbs, Alfred Sisley and Paul César Helleu.
You can view the complete sale in more detail in the online catalogue.
And don't forget the General sale will follow immediately after, featuring a diverse range of collectibles and furniture.
This week we welcomed a new member to our team of specialists.
Meg Randell will be looking after the sale of Designer Handbags and Fashion. With an academic background in Fine Art and extensive experience in the world of designer handbags, Meg is a well-known and respected voice in the field. Having recently joined from Lots Road, Meg offers a wealth of wisdom which results in high-end and quality pieces from brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Hermes making a regular appearance in these Specialist sales.
Coming up we will have our first ever Antiquities sale on 16th June, with lots that will appeal to everyone from serious collectors to those just starting their collections. This will be quickly followed by Printed Books and Manuscripts on 17th June. June is a busy month with three more sales before it finishes: Rugs on 23rd June, Historical Documents and Ephemera on 24th June and Militaria on 30th June.
And, a recent development on our website, we will now be publishing the sale results each week.
We accept consignments up to 3 weeks before each Specialist sale,
and every week for our General sales.
Please note, from August 4th our Tuesday sales will start at 11am.
Check the sale calendar for more details.
