A PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY DELFT POTTERY URNS BY PETRUS REGOUT, MAASTRICHT, the reeded baluster vase bodies decorated in blue and white with panels of flowers, with domed covers surmounted by finials of hounds / lions, the underside marked for P. Regout Maastricht and inscribed 'Delft',

39cm high x 19cm wide (2)

These vases date to after 1879 when the firm started using the image of the sphinx as a company mark and logo and 1899 when the company was renamed De Sphinx.
