Tibet, 18th Century.
Carved with a central bumpa treasure vase and Astamangala, the Eight Auspicious Symbols comprising: two fish, an eternal knot, a parasol, a conch shell, a lotus flower, a victory banner, a chakra wheel and a bumpa, arranged in pairs within loops of lotus stems, the borders with a row of lotus petals, 23cm x 69cm.
Provenance: a London private collection.
