The charcoal-brown field with overall design of large rust hooked and floral panels surrounded by palmettes, rosettes, hooked leves, stylised birds and S-motifs. In shaded rust narrow border of rosettes and hooked vine between flowering vine, hooked S-motiof and plain stripes, approx: 9ft.4in. x 4ft.10in.(283cm. x 147cm.). Very good design and good colour combination. Bold appearace. Apart of very light wear to the top pile in few small places, barely visible, this rug has good pile, soft wool quality. Ends with original kilim. Selvages are also original with cord rebound in places. In general this large rug is in very good usable condition. Very attractive and great furnishing piece.
