Jurassic Park

Copy of the Jurassic Park official souvenir magazine signed by Bob Peck on the front cover ('Bob Peck/Robert Mudon') and on the first page ('Best Wishes, Bob Peck, 24.5.98', with further annotation next to the T-Rex image "Clever Girl! A line Spielberg and I invented for my demise"), original wrappers, light handling wear, 4to; with an autograph letter signed by Peck, reading "Acting by Dinosaur" as you call it, was a long way to home, mid-Pacific and Hollywood. 'Slipstream' and 'Edge of Darkness' were on the doorstep [...]Kauai (the island of) was an exotic location, very green, with a mountain-top with the highest precipitation in the world apparently [...]Of course filming at Kauai was cut short by one day by Hurricane Iniki, quite an event in itself. For some reason I was one of the privileged few to fly out on Spielberg's private jet, while the crew stayed behind a few days to try and restore some of the services (water and electricity) to the island's population. Kauai was stripped of vegetation; it had taken them eight years to recover from the previous hurricane. Spielberg was very impressed by 'Edge of D' and remembered me from it for 'Jurassic P', two pages, 4to, Wimbledon Village, 24 May 1998 (2)

Estimated at £200 - £300
