Comprising a woman’s fine coat of silk ikat woven in polychrome stripes, the crescent pocket openings edged in green, lined in Russian printed floral cotton; a Bakhtiari coat of black and white striped cotton; a pair of drawstring shalwar of black dabit cotton; an Egyptian kaftan of gold and grey striped satin with fine frogging around the collar and front; an Afghan open robe of chequered weave, trimmed with brown corduroy and lined in Russian printed cotton; a long Afghan open robe of green, blue, and white striped satin silk, the cuffs and collar worked in black thread; and another, shorter; a Turkman coat of red and polychrome striped silk, the inner flaps opening to reveal machine-worked decorations in polychromes on purple silk, the inner lining of green silk damask, trimmed with diagonally-applied black and white striped band; a cover of polychrome cotton, woven in striped and diapered designs, 230cm x 71cm; an Uzbek hat embroidered in bright silks with stylised flowers and green border; and another; a square drawstring bag of yellow satin silk, the circular opening of four-petalled detail, the corners worked in metallic threads with peacocks on floral tendrils, 33cm x 33cm; and another, in blue satin; the whole quantity encased in a suitcase of ecru canvas with brown leather edges and handle, 72cm x 41cm x 20cm.
