Modelled as a seated Sultan and Sultana, both wearing gilt-embroidered flowered robes, colourfully and sumptuously dressed with ornate turbans and accessories, the top of their turbans with a hole filled by a stopper (Sultan) and a later glass marble (Sultana), both resting against a pink handrest and seated on shaped colourful cushions, the base with pink and gold volutes, Western vegetal festoons and decorative motifs, the base unmarked, each 27cm high.
