§ KEREN LUCHTENSTEIN (BRITISH), contemporary still life of shoes, oil on board, signed and dated 2005, (frame; 24 x 33cm) Notes: Keren graduated with an M.A. and continued to paint, draw and print-make while teaching life-drawing at Chelsea School of Art. At the same time she worked as a special effects painter at Henson Creature Workshop on films like Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal and as an assistant designer on many opera and dance productions in the UK and abroad. From 1981 as Keren Ludlow she began a decade long collaboration with fashion designer Ally Capellino, designing prints, posters, labels, logos and T-shirt images. This led to an award winning career as an illustrator and she gained an international reputation and took part in many exhibitions.
