An early 20th century Ceylonese (Sri Lankan) silver small box, Kandy circa 1930
Circular form with convex sides, the domed pull off lid surmounted by a rounded finial. Marked to the reverse with lion rampant sinha mark and KAA (Kandyan Arts Association). Together with an unmarked Ceylonese circular tray, chased with borders of elephants, hamsa ducks and Sinha, all reserved with foliate scrolls all centred by a vacant circular cartouche. (2)
