A pair of mid- 20th century Indian colonial salvers, Calcutta probably 1940 by Hamilton and Co
In the George II style, of square form with re-entrant corners and an ovolo rim with moulded edge, all raised upon four outswept . Each engraved to the centre with a crest of a griffin’s head erased vulning itself. Each marked to the reverse H&Co, elephant, date letter D, and STERLING SILVER. (2)
