In soft red border of bold hooked palmettes, delicated floral and leafy vine between ivory floral meander, reciprocal and plain stripes, approx: 387cm. x 297cm. Very nicely drawn design, rather unusual for this type. Colours are well blended. This carpet has full pile, soft wool quality. Ends with short fringes, secured. Selvages rebound, well done. In general this carpet is in very good condition throughout. Great furnishing piece. Attractive.
