A VIENNESE AUSTRIAN MUSICAL SILVER AND GILT PORTICO DESK CLOCK, LATE 19TH CENTURY, the enamelled dial painted with a landscape scene and Arabic numerals, within a circular mount, set with green stone cabochons and seed pearls, with pierced scrolling and foliate detail, supported by two double baluster columns cast with acanthus leaves, the circular base set with green stone cabochons, with cloisonne C scroll and foliate design to the centre, surrounded by cast applied shell and scrolling foliate adornments, enclosing a mechanical musical element, on four scrolling feet.
