A KUTAHYA POTTERY COFFEE POT
Ottoman Turkey, 19th century
Of bulbous shape, resting on a short circular foot, rising to a flared rim, with a curved handle to one side and a semi-flat spout to the latter, painted in cobalt blue, bole red, copper green and manganese purple against white ground, the decoration consisting of stylised V-shaped motif around concentric roundels with a cross-hatched band and sylised pseudo-Chinese strokes to the centre, 14cm high.
