Of rectangular shape, the outer frame polychrome-painted and gilt, the decoration consisting of frolicking birds amidst leafy branches with floral blossoms, against a dark background filled with golden leaves, the spine and back painted in dark cobalt blue, the centre painted in red and gold, with a large star-shaped floral medallion, 53cm x 37cm.
