The earrings designed with a typical tiered composition of two domed umbrella-like elements surmounting a drop-shaped pendant, each segment painted with polychrome enamels and caparisoned, the decoration consisting of flowerheads, vegetal motifs and birds flanking a Qajar-style woman wearing a lilac rusari (headscarf), the hoops possibly a later addition and enhanced with two pearl-like glass beads, 8.5cm long.
