A Selection of Cased Images c.1850s

Two half-plate daguerreotype portraits of men in full leather, side-hinged cases; one British handcoloured example and one American example with some spotting in the plate, together with a double quarter plate ambrotype of a married couple in a union case depicting a women on horseback with her dog in the woods, small loss to one corner, otherwise G/VG and finally an earlier Beard sixth plate of a young girl, with significant condition issues to the plate, in bottom hinged red morroco case with domed lid and Beard's Parliament address stamp on the back
