A VERY LARGE LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH SILVER AND ENAMEL MOUNTED TURQUOISE GLAZED PORCELAIN OCTAGONAL JARDINIERE the octagonal porcelain body with gently canted sides on eight toupie feet, the sides mounted in fine silver mounted and pierced trellis work, each side with an oval enamel panel within a cartouche, the eight panels depicting amorous couples or garden landscapes, the ribs, feet and rims also mounted in silver, each of the eight corners to the top with flared palmette finials, the centre lined with a tin tray, 19cm high, 64cm in diameter
