Of shallow rounded shape, resting on a short circular foot, with a wide, everted rim, underglaze painted in cobalt blue, green, red, yellow and black against white ground, the decoration emanating from a six-pointed star in the centre filled with a green ground and seven rosette heads, blue borders extending from each of the star's points and joining at a foliate border along the rim dividing the cavetto into six sections, each featuring a lobed-trapezoid cartouche in green, framing tall rosette and tulip stems, 33.5cm diam.
