THREE TINTED DRAWINGS IN THE STYLE OF HOSSEIN BEHZAD (1894 - 1968)

Opaque pigments, pencil, and ink on paper, comprising three vertical compositions in archaistic style reminiscent of the work of the prominent modern Iranian painter Hossein Behzad, one illustrating a female drummer followed by three male musicians, all playing traditional Iranian musical instruments; another with a lady perched on a tree, observing two Sufi scholars; and another with three more musicians, two on camels' backs and another playing the flute on foot, each mounted, framed and glazed, each folio 22cm x 17.5cm, 41cm x 36cm including the frames.
