An early 20th century Austrian unmarked silver and champlevé enamel figural table timepiece, probably Vienna circa 1910
The clock section formed as a desk upon lion paw feet with a young woman sat upon a chair reading, a n oil lamp in front of her. All upon a lapis lazuli inset rectangular base upon four bun feet. Enamelled decoration throughout of rosettes and arabesques in polychrome. The chair upholstery and women’s dress with inset coloured past. The gilt dial with Roman numerals with off white champlevé enamel, and an engraved centre. The hinged glazed door edged with a course of claw set paste.
