This carpet has worn field and part border. Scattered old repairs. Very light dry foundaton in few places.and Ends with short fringes, secured. Cord on selvages replaces, well done. Very fine weave, approx: 8 x 8 knots per sq.cm; woven on silk foundation. Despite the wear this carpet is still in fair usable conditon. Very attractive and decorative piece.
