AN AUSTRIAN SILVER GILT MANTEL CLOCK, Vienna circa 1880s, the cast central clock section surmounted with a gem set bouquet in a lapis lazuli vase, flanked by a gardener on a ladder and a servant lady below, with fruit in her apron, the removable clock movement with white enamel dial and Roman numerals, the bezel set with colourless green pastes above a cast tapering pedestal standing on an oval rocaille base, the reverse with rocialle C scrolls forming a vacant cartouche, set throughout with colourless pastes, emerald coloured pastes, ruby cabochons, and fresh water pearls. Unmarked.
