A PAIR OF VERY FINE ISFAHAN PRAYER RUGS, CENTRAL PERSIA, approx: 217cm. x 140cm. and 214cm. x 141cm. Great example for this type with beautifully drawn design and very good colour combination. Apart of slight wear to the top pile in tiny area on one of the rugs, otherwise both rugs have full pile, very soft and lustrous wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with fringes. Very fine weave, approx: 8 x 8 knots per sq. cm. In general, both rugs are in very good usable condition. Very attractive and great furnishing pieces.
