This pattern is extremely rare and having a service in it even more so, Ian Pickford in ‘Silver Flatware - English, Irish and Scottish 1660-1980’ (1983), page 132 describes Trailing Vine as ‘A very rare pattern combining the King’s Shape with grapes and vines. Odd pieces may occasionally be found. Building a service would probably be impossible’. This pattern should not be confused with the later and more common Bright Vine made by George Adams (Chawner & Co)
AMENDMENT - The twelfth dessert fork is now present.
