A VERY FINE ANTIQUE QUM CARPET, CENTRAL PERSIA, approx:305cm. x 211cm. Lovely overall deisgn with open floral lattice and very good colour .combination. It is a old Qum carpet, seldom found in the sales. This pieces has slight wear to the pile, down to knot collar, showing dot like wear in smal places. Selvages replaced, very well done. Ends with short fringes, secured. Very fine weave, approx: 9 x 8 knots per sq, cm. Despite imperfections, this carpet is in good usable condition. Very elegant and attractive piece
