A mid to late 19th century German 13 loth (812 standard) silver jug or ewer, Munich circa 1870 by Eduard Wollenweber
Of baluster form upon a shaped circular foot, an everted shaped neck with an acanthus capped double C scroll fluted handle. The body with flat chased decoration of rocaille, flower heads and lattice work reserves. Gilt interior. Marked underneath with 13 and WOLLENWEBER.

Weight – 281 grams / 9.03 ozt
Eduard Wollenweber was court jeweller to King Ludwig II of Bavaria (1845-1886), supplied a table service around 1860.
