THREE TIBETAN GAU AND A PHURBA.

Tibet, circa 19th Century.

Comprising two circular shrines, each with a repoussé design of Eight Buddhist Symbols around the opening, the third gau of ogival shape, with auspicious emblems against foliate scrolls surrounding the central window and the Kirtimukha mask below, together with a wood phurba carved with three masks to the handle and raised on a modern stand, 24.5cm H. (4)
