A mid-19th century German 13 loth (812 standard) silver tea and coffee service, circa 1860 marked Schad
Comprising a teapot, coffee pot and milk jug. Each of lobed and fluted baluster form upon a shaped foot. The pots with beaded and acanthus capped spouts opposite acanthus capped C scroll handles fitted with ivory insulators pinned to sockets, the hinged domed and fluted lids surmounted by detachable cast finials of flowers above a calyx. The milk jug with gilt interior. Each marked underneath with standard mar 13 and SCHAD only. (3)
