Arabic and Persian manuscript on paper, 20ff., each folio with 5ll. of crisp black ink naskh script in Arabic, with interlinear Persian translation in red ink nasta’liq script, interspersed with 4ll. of diagonal blue and red ink naskh script highlighting key religious words, their meanings in Persian in shikasteh nasta’liq script, the number 12 at the end of most phrases a numerical reminder of the Twelve Shia Imams, the text grouped within gold cloudbands, dated Rabi Ul-Awwal 1305 AH (November - December 1887) and signed Abdullah Gilani Eshkevari, the manuscript unbound, each folio reapplied on pink board, set within coloured borders, the final panel blank, the text panel 15cm x 7.3cm, the folio 29.2cm x 19.5cm.
