Opaque pigments, pencil and sepia ink on paper, comprising two small vertical portraits depicting two Persian boys on horseback, wearing their rifles around their shoulders, one of them followed by a hunting dog and the latter carrying their prey; and an itinerant water seller, bent forward carrying the weight of the full water jar full on his shoulders and holding a bowl and small bucket in his hands, each portrait with an identifying handwritten note in English on the lower edge reading Persian Boys Going Out Hunting and Saka or Water Seller, mounted, glazed and framed, 33.5cm x 26.5cm including the frame.
