A BURMESE GILT-LACQUER CHEST.

Burma, 19th / 20th Century.

The rectangular body applied to each side and the top of the concave hinged cover with figures among floral scrolls embellished with gilt and inlaid with glass beads, the interior painted red, all supported on four short cabriole legs divided by reticulated rocaille aprons, 31.5 x 64 x 25cm.
